Our History

It was fate that brought Luanne and Steve together.   They quickly identified the philosophies that would define their new firm, EarthWoodnFire:

• Never forget why you're creating in the first place

• No matter how you do it, leave your mark

This is Luanne. She likes to play in the "mud".

Luanne's path to becoming an artist was not quite direct.  She studied art in college and eventually become a art school teacher.  But that was not her true passion.  After an extended period away from her true love, she has returned to create outstanding sculptures and unique ceramic objects of art.

This is Steve. He prefers to work in wood..

Steve's original training in wood started in the 3rd grade.  Ever since that exposure, he has had the woodturning bug.  The wood lathe is his favorite tool and the mixing of exotic woods and other materials in nature drive his creativity.
